| The Reykjanes Ridge is a major topographic feature of the North-Atlantic Ocean that extends from Iceland to the Charlie Gibbs Fracture Zone. Located between the Iceland Basin and the Irminger Sea, the Reykjanes Ridge strongly influences the subpolar gyre circulation and is a gate toward the deep convection areas. However, the circulation and distribution across the Reykjanes Ridge has never been directly quantified such that the characterization of the connection between the Iceland Basin and the Irminger Sea is still incomplete. | In 2013, the project ‘Assessment of the renewable rate of the seawater masses in the Miquelon ‘Grand Etang’ ‘ focused essentially on (1) building a data set originating from all partners (e.g., DTAM, IGN), (2) preliminary sampling of current patterns so as to facilitate the 2014 field sampling strategy. Besides this approach, a census of aerial pictures dated from 1950, 1990 and 2005 were studied to assess the temporal trends of this geographic sector. | La mise en place d'une nouvelle zone de filière ostréicole fait actuellement l'objet d'une demande de la Section Régionale Ré Centre-Ouest. L'objectif du projet est de transférer une partie de l'ostréiculture d'estran sur filières, le tout à biomasse constante afin d'obtenir un gain de productivité. Deux sites ont été proposés. La proximité des zones d'élevage (mytilicole et ostréicole) en filières laisse supposer une compétition possible de l'exploitation des ressources alimentaires dans l'ensemble géographique du Pertuis Breton. | In Marennes-Oléron, Héral (1986) described the relationship between the annual production and the oysters' biomass over a century. His conclusion is that the drop in the growth of oysters was caused by an "overstorage" considering the trophic capacity of the basin. Moreover, the large intertidal spaces, though providing a great opportunity for mollusc culture, suffer from a large bio-deposition (Sornin 1983) which tends to intensify the sedimentation of the basin.
